These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BreakPoint iOS application ("the app"), developed by David Tseng / Blue Hat Studio ("we"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. The app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these Terms are silent, Apple's standard EULA applies.
BreakPoint records and analyzes tennis sessions entirely on your iPhone: line calls, swing detection, statistics, and highlights. Analysis quality depends on filming conditions (camera placement, lighting, distance), and the app is designed to omit information it cannot compute reliably rather than guess.
All analysis output — line calls, ball speeds, swing classifications, statistics, and any confidence indicators — consists of automated estimates produced by computer vision, for training and entertainment purposes only. They are not certified measurements and must not be used for officiating, dispute resolution, or any purpose that requires guaranteed accuracy. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of any analysis result.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except as permitted by law; use the app to infringe others' rights (including privacy and publicity rights of people you record); or attempt to circumvent subscription entitlements.
The app, its design, and its analysis software are our intellectual property. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
